Regular Services – 9.30 Sunday & 10.00 Wednesday
The worldwide Anglican communion has a rich wealth of forms of worship for Holy Communion. At our 9.30 am Sunday service, we celebrate using a regular monthly rotation of several of these service formats ( with a “Kids Talk” segment included in each). We do this to encourage us to think more deeply about the meaning of the various parts of the liturgy rather than the ‘traditional’ practice of repeating the same form of service by rote each Sunday.
1st and 5th Sunday – Traditional sung Eucharist from “A Prayer Book for Australia” second order.
2nd Sunday – All Together Worship ; a service designed for new Christians and young families.
3rd Sunday – Holy Communion sung service with Right of Healing.
4th Sunday – Alternative thanksgiving service from New Zealand, Canadian and RAAF Chapel prayer books
Data projection (PowerPoint) is used at all Sunday services with recorded music being used at all except 2 services each month when we have an organist available.
Wednesday 10.00 am service with Right of Healing
LIVING FAMILY GIVING service on the first and third Sunday of each month at 5.00 pm. This is a less formal style of service focusing on the children; encouraging them to contribute to the family atmosphere of the service and its running. A meal is shared after the service.
